Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using Dringo ("we", "us", "our") operated at dringo.org (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.

2. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering.
  • You must not share your account with any third party.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

4. Tutor Listings

  • Tutors are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Dringo.
  • Dringo does not guarantee the accuracy of tutor profiles or the quality of lessons provided.
  • Payments between learners and tutors are facilitated by Stripe subject to Stripe's own terms.
  • Dringo may remove any tutor listing that breaches these Terms at our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software on the Service is owned by or licensed to Dringo and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6. User Content

By posting content on the Service you grant Dringo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with operating and improving the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dringo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email to your registered address. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
