What's the difference between Mae and Roedd? I keep mixing them up when writing about the past 😅

Great question! Mae is present tense — "is/am/are". Roedd is imperfect past — "was/were". So Mae hi'n bwrw glaw means "It is raining" and Roedd hi'n bwrw glaw means "It was raining". 🌧️
